Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, or maybe because of it, PRCC had a great summer in…
Paddle the Rouge is a busy, exciting event in which people are invited to paddle on the Rouge River for free as a way a promoting Rouge National Park. Federal ministers routinely participate and two years ago Prime Minister Justin Trudeau even attended.
PRCC will have an information booth to promote our Camp and sprint programs, plus we have committed to helping out at the event. Paddle the Rouge organizers are looking for paddlers to help out, particularly on canoes with children. This is a really fun way to use up those volunteer hours. The event occurs at Rouge Beach, right where our Camp is.
Sign up is on our “Jobs and Volunteering” page on our website at http://pickeringrouge.ca/jobs-volunteering/ or see below. Please sign up for more than one time slot if you are available.
