Progress towards a New Site on Frenchman’s Bay

PRCC is working hard with the City of Pickering to find a new site for the Club on Frenchman’s Bay. A strong possibility is Progress Frenchman’s Bay East Park.

The PRCC Board will be presenting to the City of Pickering Executive Committee on Monday, March 2 at 2:00 in Council Chambers. We are hopeful of a positive outcome so that we can save our Special Olympics (PaddleAll), High Performance/Development, Master’s and Dragon Boat programs. Please support PRCC!

Progress Park has docks, parking and space for modular containers that would be out of the sight lines of residents. We are designing a new, modern site that will be functional, look great and blend in with the park. The old site will be decommissioned as soon as feasible. Bay Ridges is supportive of PRCC being in the Park and we look forward to working with the community to make this location work for everyone.
