PRCC’s Canoe & Kayak Camp is a fun, active day camp full of games, crafts and on-water activities. Participants paddle different types of watercraft that are appropriate for all ages and skill levels. No previous experience is necessary. The camp is located in the Glen Rouge Campground, on the shore of the Rouge River and in Canada’s only national urban park, Rouge National Urban Park. Each session is one week long and runs from 9:00 – 4:00. This program is designed for participants 6 – 13 years of age, and participants are separated into groups based on age so activities can differ and are stimulating for everyone. PRCC’s summer camp has nine available weeks, each with a different theme and activities that match the theme.
