Summer is coming … and so is construction

Preparations for PRCC’s 2018 season are in high gear. Registrations are filling up for PaddleALL and the Master’s program. Sign up soon to avoid disappointment.

Registrations for our “Rouge Camp” as well as our Pickering “U15 Summer Sprint” (Bantam) and “Intro to Sprint” programs continue to be brisk. Programming improvements and new boats & canopies will add to the fun & comfort of children at both sites.

Phase 1 construction of Rotary Frenchman’s Bay West Park has begun. You can continue to cycle or walk to the Club with trail access from Sunrise Avenue and Breezy Drive. The closure of Beachpoint Promenade in May and June will be challenging but PRCC is working with the City of Pickering to make special arrangements for PaddleALL. For smaller programs, participants who are not cycling may need to be shuttled to the Club on our safety boats. Details will be posted once confirmed. Because of the construction, we are cancelling the 2018 recreational dragon boat program but dragon boat rentals continue to be available.
